Inocybe Mushroom

Description:

1cm cap. Pale brown with off-white gills and off-white stem. The spore print may be pale brown or off-white but the fungi has not given a clear one yet. Very fragile and slightly spongy feel to the top

Habitat:

on a track running parallel to back yards where a remnant woodland ridge meets gardens and yards. Beneath gum trees and among invasive weeds. Very shaded and moist spot. Several mushroom about 1m apart and limited to the point where the grass grows short alng the edge of the trail

Notes:

I will check back and see if they get larger but as it is school holidays there is little chance of their survival. Identification by gully.moy

Thanks gully.moy. Looking at the reference material available I doubt I have the experience to get closer than that so I will keep it simple.
