Small Phigalia Moth

Phigalia strigataria

Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae. Typical Geometer. A common black and gray moth. Nice line designs. Wingspan: 1.25 inches long (3 cm) Hosts: Elm and other deciduous trees.

Habitat:

Prefers woodlands, but will come to porch light as in this case.

Thanks Argy. My confidence with moth ID hasn't arrived yet, but I really think this is the correct ID. The moth is in good condition.
