Maybe we should canvass the scientific community to change its name - Zale spectacularis sounds much more appropriate!

Yes, I checked some of the Larentiinae and did not found a reasonable match, but had then to leave. Amazing similarity with Larentiinae. But I was a little bit sceptic, that's why I did not make an "official" suggestion and put ?? In my comment ;-)...

I've found it bayucca! I was looking geometers too but it is actually an owlet!
Such a awful name for a pretty moth too!
