A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Merops apiaster
The European Bee Eaters migrate through Qatar twice a year during spring and autumn migration (Africa - Europe & Europe - Africa). In spring they are particularly colourful as they are in full breeding plumage. During autumn their colour pattern remains the same but less saturated.
Spotted at an irrigated farm in the middle of Qatar.
