Rhododendron obtusum planch
Bush angiosperm with very bright, vibrant pink flowers. Flowers only bloom for short periods of time but the green leaves will last throughout the spring and summer. Many bees use these bushes for pollination while they are in bloom. Has long branches for stems and looks almost like a small tree.
Originated in Japan. Can now be found in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Found in forest areas because they Need to be kept in shady or partially shaded areas.
