Thorn Treehopper nymphs

Umbonia crassicornis

Habitat:

legumes and other ornamental and fruit trees

Notes:

These are some of the same nymphs from this spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/198... Note how they are growing and the main "thorn" on the back is developing. You can even begin to distinguish males (with the flat and wider thorn) from females (the ones with the pointed sharp thorn).
