Polyporus badius
A very small polypore about 10 mm wide with a notched cap and thick eccentric stipe. The cream-colored cap had a tinge of brown and appeared convex on the upper side. thinning out towards the margins. The stipe base was brown and felty.
Spotted on a small decaying branch in a damp eucalyptus forest.
I assume this is a black footed polypore. Confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
