Silver Orb Spider

Leucauge granulata

Description:

Also known as the Silver Camel Spider, or Horizontal Orb Spider. Small long legged spider, brilliant metallic colouring of pale green, silver, black, gold. Legs appear translucent. Builds a delicate spreading web usually in foliage. Captures insects in the web for food. Not an aggressive species.

Habitat:

Found in garden environment adjacent to dry Eucalypt woodland. This one strung between citrus tree & wall of dwelling.
