White Bellied Sea Eagle

Haliaeetus leucogaster

Description:

Large and bulky looking bird. White head and white chest. Dark grey/ black on wings. Yellow legs with large claws. Hooked beak.

Habitat:

Near a mangrove patch, at the coast. There was an old crocodile farm close by. Queensland, Australia.

Notes:

While I drove by I saw this big bird sitting on his dead tree. Stopped to take these pictures. What a creature!
