Description:

Small moth of about 8 mm in length. The second specimen was spotted on 27 May 2013.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Thanks Mark. It IS amazing, San Cristobal is a paradise for moths. I want to document all of them that I can. I worry about the over population and the destruction of the environment here.. Maybe someday, only photos of them will remain. I am trying to get the shopping center to change the type of lights they use in the parking lot. Thousands of moths die there, squashed by cars and kids and the bats have a monumental feast there every night.
