This moth looks overall brown, especially at night, however up close it has a multitude of scales in a variety of colors. About 1.5 cm long. The third picture is of a different individual taken on 15 April 2014.
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
