Pterapogon kauderni
The Banggai cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) is a small tropical cardinalfish (family Apogonidae). It is the sole member of the genus Pterapogon, with the exception of Pterapogon mirifica. This attractive fish is popular in the aquarium trade. It is among the relatively few marine fish to have been bred regularly in captivity, but significant numbers are still captured in the wild and it is now an endangered species

So beautiful! I didn't know they existed, thanks for sharing this!
Thanks, @Nayeli :)
@dotun55, they are not toxic, not all the time when animals are with bright colors they are toxic/poisonous :p
I want to believe that they're not as toxic as Sergio's caterpillars... Fascinating!
Awesome!!
Maria, this specie was 'introduced' to Lembeh Strait area through the aquarium trade, meaning, either they were released or discarded by pet owners from the area and they are now quite prolific in Lembeh Strait, adding another unique critter to the location.
What a beautiful fish! How unfortunate that its beauty is now leading to it being an endangered species.
