Description:

Ctenuchid moths are diurnal and usually very conspicuous. This one is about 1.5 cm long, has an orange neck band and white branching lines on the wings.

Habitat:

Empty field, semi-urban area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters. Sitting on a Goldenrod leaf.
