Selasphorus sasin
Extremely similar in appearance to the widespread Rufous Hummingbird, the Allen's Hummingbird breeds only along a narrow strip of coastal California and southern Oregon. Is differentiated from the Rufous Hummingbird by the presence of green on the back and forehead.
