Diamondback Water Snake

Nerodia rhombifer

Description:

They are brown above with dark blotches on the back, and the belly is yellow.

Habitat:

Found in a marsh, I caught him in a minnow trap. He was released later that day after a photo shoot, he was super sweet and I really enjoyed the couple hours I worked with him :)
