orchid

Description:

large terrestrial orchid, the last photo shows 2 different species of orchids growing beside each other. this one is possibly a species of Xylobium but I'm not sure. the other is a species of Ida.

Habitat:

cloudforest, 2400m

Notes:

I spotted this near the end of a trek in the Cocora Valley near Salento. A friend and I were hiking down a road with the valley on the left side and cloudforest on the right. It turned out to be a great road for spottings. T
