Chamaepetes unicolor
Endemic to Costa Rica premontane forests and westernmost Panama mountains, this species (Cracidae family) is listed as Near Threatened because it occupies a small range, in which it is affected by hunting and limited habitat loss and degradation. It is 70 cms size, and extremely shy. Shot at Bosque de Paz Lodge (the mountains and sun in front of the Lodge were reflected on the Guan's eves)
