Palpita sp.
This white moth is different from the other white ones that are commonly seen (Palpita flegia, Family Crambidae http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/138...). This one has a brown band down the full length of the upper wing and a row of black spots along the bottom of both wings. It also has protruding brown palpi and lacks the spots on the head.
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.

Thank you bayucca, I'll put Palpita sp. for now. It doesn't have any neck coloration, and no spots on the wings except for the lower borders.
Crambidae, Spilomelinae. I tend to Palpita sp. or Diaphania sp., similar to Diaphania glauculalis or Diaphania costata, but colors of the legs are minimally different and there is often an orange stripe behind the head which yours has not. Tricky one!
