Perfect name indeed :-)
Beautiful! Very appropriate name :-)
No worries Daniele, I was just thinking out loud really :-) I saw one daytime flying moth but it didn't stop for a photo! none throughout the night though. I hope you enjoyed Iceland :-)
Interesting point about the daylight Debbie, I don't have an immediate answer... I was actually in Iceland in June with 24 hr daylight and saw plenty of "daytime" flying moths. Most were very small. I've only uploaded one so far:

Thanks Daniele, unfortunately I am not still in Finland but I was keeping my eye open for moths, I was wondering if the 24 hour daylight had anything to do with the lack of moths I saw in the evening?!
Thanks Debbie and J! Debbie watch out if you're still in Finland: 2 out of the 3 other spottings we have for this unusual species on Project Noah are from Norway and Russia. But it is found in the UK too.
Gorgeous, Daniele! I love the subtle white tips on the wings!
Beautiful photos and moth Daniele! I will have to keep my eye out for these if they are found across Europe :-)
