Description:

Family: Geometridae. Subfamily: Ennominae (Typical Geometers). Wingspan: 34-36 mm. Broad FW is variably gray (male) or violet brown (female) with paler ST area beyond wavy black PM line. Inner PM line is relatively straight. Has a pronounced costal fold in outer third of FW at rest. Hosts: Black cherry, black locust, and tamarack.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Came to light.

Notes:

Very similar to Hubner's Pero (Pero ancetaria)
