California Condor

Gymnogyps californianus

Habitat:

Open sky over canyon

Notes:

This rare bird was soaring over the South Rim of the canyon. I only saw it there. There were two flying the same general area. It is endangered and can only be found in small parts of Arizona, Central California, and Baja California.
