I I took this off a list for SoCal. I haven't found a list yet for Catalina. My list also had no sizes. As I said it was a guess.
Not even close, this wasn't even 2 inches long and nowhere near where those conches are.
Looks like this had a lot of wear and tear. But I'm guessing Fighting Conch Strombus pugilis
