Hyphantria cunea
Fall webworm moth caterpillars are white insects with black spots. The small hairy caterpillars grow into pale to dark caterpillars about 1.5 inches long. Some have a black head and others rusty-orange heads. These caterpillars start their webs at the ends of the branches. They are sometimes confused with tent caterpillars and bagworms.
