Microdes Moth - geometrid

Microdes squamulata

Description:

A small grey moth with wriggly dark and pale lines and a wing span of about 20mm. The submarginal areas of fore wings had orange patterns. The costa at the base of the wings were slightly flared.

Habitat:

Spotted in an area with mixed natives. Moth caterpillars are said to feed on wattles - Acacia species.
