Parides iphidamas is a species of butterfly in the family Papilionidae. It is commonly known as the Iphidamas Cattleheart and the Transandean Cattleheart
Double sh**t, I'd bet they were just two pics of the same individual, sitting on the same leaf!
White patches and red patches are larger in the other one. And in these nasty little swallowtails, these patches are important ;-)...
