Eastern Kingsnake

Lampropeltis getula

Description:

A large adult female that was found under a board and in shed.

Habitat:

Between pine wood and cedar swamp.

Notes:

This snake was actually only a few meters from the timber rattlesnakes and their den. It will most likely feed on the young timbers once it is finished shedding and staked out the area so that i may have an abundant food supply.
