Fungus

Description:

A small mushroom or toadstool, only about 1.5" across the cap and about 2" tall. Two caps growing on what appeared to be a single stem. Cream colored on top with a darker "pocked" caramel brown underside and a white stem.

Habitat:

Mixed forest floor with some grass nearby.

Notes:

I didn't notice the second layer or cap until I went to take the side/underside photo that is not photo one.
