False Parasol

Chlorophyllum molybdites

Description:

I found this fungi growing in the grass, and it was approximately 3-4 inches across, if not a bit more. It caught my attention because of how large it was.

Habitat:

Sighted growing in a grassy yard. It was fairly wet at the time, but not a place with decomposing wood or anything.
