Habitat:

Thanks for the comments and liking. Jonathan Sequeira has posted a similar patch and says it's Hongo Sambrilla. I feel they resemble more: the shape of the cap; the translucent silvery stems, etc.

I've observed this group for four sproutings, this year for the 3rd time. This group looks slightly different from the other spottings (pl correct me): 1. They don't flare like umbrella. 2. Are of similar sizes. 3.Don't have scales at the bottom. 4. Grew on the nearby dead cherry tree earlier, and now on this concrete wall. Thanks anyway.

Interestingly, I found an identical patch a few days ago in Manoa Valley, Oahu, Hawaii. The entire patch, consisting of white, grey, and black were all confined to the trunk of a single tree.
