Green-Violet Ear

Colibri thalassinus

Description:

Also my last spotting of this hummingbird for now. Birds of this species kept its distance from the other more aggressive and territorial hummies in the area. They are mostly resident of Central America although some migration to North America has also been reported. There are different subspecies and C. thalassinus cabanidis is the one resident in Costa Rica and Panama.

Habitat:

Paraiso Quetzal.

Si, Luis, aunque en Costa Rica es facil ser afortunado para ver animales y plantas siendo tan rico en naturaleza :-)
