Monkey Puzzle butterfly

Rathinda amor

Description:

Small butterfly of about 20mm size. The patterns on the wings and the antennae like protrusions of the wings makes both ends very similar. This is a defensive mechanism against predators.

Habitat:

Seen on a guava tree.

Notes:

It is a first time spotting for me.. Exact species ID will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There's a mission "Butterflies and Moths of the World" under Global missions, that might like to have this beautiful butterfly included in it...
