Description:

A pretty little moth with a black base color that is liberally striped with orange. There is a large orange stripe on each side beginning at the head and extends down the wings.

Habitat:

Photographed under a light in the Amazon rainforest of SE Ecuador (900 masl).

Notes:

One of the more strikingly marked moths we encountered regularly.
