Description:

Large bird, orange eyes, brown back with white splotches, white underbelly with brown speckles.

Habitat:

Spotted in a small pond off a fast moving river.

Notes:

Spotted in a turtle pond of the Twelve Mile Creek. It was fishing in the pond for some time. It eventually was scared off. It had a large wingspan several feet wide.
