A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Project Noah Nature School
Pelecanus occidentalis californicus
I see them all the time out there. Never gets old watching them dive for fish. :)
I never see a Pelican...except once I visited local zoo in Mumbai about 25 years back. So I always want to know more about creatures I never seen.
Looks like most of them are preening themselves, Ashish. The one in the front seems to be asleep.Nice catch!Would love to see these guys out wild :)
Why everyone is turned back their head.. are they sleeping...?
