Spider Egg Sacs

unknown

Description:

I spotted these spider egg sacs in the corner of my fence post. Since I took the first photo, one of the sacs seems to have hatched as there is a hole in one of the corners. Still not certain what type of spider they belong to.

Habitat:

Urban backyard fence.

Thank you for the ID Janeen! I checked on the sacs today and one of them had a hole in it. I uploaded new photos.

I think they are spider egg sacks and will produce hundreds of babies. I would let them live, but I don't have kids in my yard. I don't know what kind of spider they could be, sorry.
