Jumping spider?

not sure

Description:

This little guy was only about 1/4 inch in length. He was making a web over the food dish of a feral cat we've been caring for, and was wrestling with a fly much bigger than himself when I found him. I think he's a jumping spider, judging by his movements. I've included pictures of the fly as well--he was beautiful, even though deceased!

Habitat:

Backyard; suburban/urban setting.
