This immature gull, this year's young, was begging and trying to get food from the adult gull. Interesting to watch. The Glaucous-winged gull is a 4 year gull, which means it takes 4 years to reach its typical adult plumage.

Yes, I know where Maple Ridge is. I have been there. I have a sister that lived there, a few years back.
