Spotted this large spider eating a bee in my veggie garden. You can see the white cross pattern on the back of the spider which distinguishes this species.

Habitat:

Urban veggie garden.

Nicely done. Also known as cross orb weaver spider. Have some pics up on them, but catching the bee is priceless!
