Noctuidae moth

Tolna sypnoides

Description:

about 1.5"

Habitat:

rainforest

Notes:

I spotted a lot of moths, insects and a praying mantis on the ceiling off the guesthouse/cafe in Ranomafana National Park. I camped at the park for 7 days. Every morning I would come to the cafe for breakfast and the ceiling would usually be covered in the previous night's visitors. The last photo shows this. I have already uploaded some of the insects I saw there.
