Owl Butterfly

Caligo eurilochus

Description:

There are 5 species of Owl Butterflies in Costa Rica, they are the largest Butterflies in Costa Rica, even though I have 4 spottings of Owl Butterflies I think 2 of them were the same species. I am hoping this one is the third species I have spotted, so I only have two more to spot.
