Sinuous Chanterelle

Craterellus sinuosus

Description:

Vaguely trumpet shaped, these fruiting bodies had greyish white spore surface forming the outside of the trumpet. The fawn coloured caps were wrinkled with frilly margins.
Spore print was white (pic 5)

Habitat:

Spotted in damp soil in a well-shaded area in a eucalypt forest.

Notes:

An uncommon fungus. Family: Cantharellaceae
