Snout Moth

Description:

A flaming orange and brown snout moth, 1 cm long. The hairy snout is actually the labial palpi. The antennae run down the sides of the upper wings. The legs are white.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
