Orange Sulphur Butterfly

Description:

Family:Pieridae. Subfamily: Coliadinae (Sulphurs). Most likely newly emerged. Orange/yellow with white spot bordered by pink and black. Pink spots, pink border. pink antennae and legs. lime green eyes. Wingspan: 35-70 mm. Adults feed on variety of nectar including dandelion, milkweed, goldenrod and aster.

Habitat:

Front yard by house on Winged Burning Bushes
