Cocoon?

Description:

I found this ingenious large cocoon, hidden in the middle of the garden Granadilla, Passiflora ligularis Juss. Two and a half inches by two, and at least an inch thick.

Notes:

Made with dried leaves, it had the regular hanging threads in the top middle, on the left side a hard leaf attach to the cocoon, hooked around a vine "curl", in the right top side there is a perfect short hook that went on and around the vine. I was very securely attach and it felt hard to the touch. Something large have to be inside....
