Fulgorid Planthopper

Enchophora subviridis

Description:

It measured around 2.5cm in body length. base colour is a blueish green with golden yellow on head, thorax, and forewings, which display a pattern of white spots on the tips; abdomen is pale with pink and red markings. Eyes are very conspicuous due to the bright red colouration.

Habitat:

Found on the Osa peninsula, in tropical rainforest bordering the Corcovado NP.
