White-eyed Vireo

Vireo griseus

Habitat:

In scrubby areas year-round including overgrown pastures, forested edges, streamside thickets, second-growth forests, and bramble-filled fields. In Florida, they also use mangroves

Notes:

A first spotting of this species for me. I can believe a was able to take this semi-good photo as it quickly landed in a shrub near me and just as quick flew on. I thought I was taking a photo of a warbler at the time.
