A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Passer montanus
Eurasian tree sparrows are one of the most common birds in the Philippines and it is easy to find its nest around the city. The nest is made of straws of brooms and dry thin twigs of plants. It is round and it is made in a window of a storage room. It seems old and there are no eggs or young inside it. I saw a chick when I was young.
Its habitat is in the city or the urban area. The nest is located in a window of our storage room.
Actually, there are two nests in the window.
