Strobilomyces strobilaceus

Description:

The cap was almost 3 in. in dia. White with a brown bumpy texture. The stem was woody in appearance. Underneath the cap it had brown pores.

Habitat:

Spotted growing out of a rotting log at Seven Devils Swamp. Probably of a hardwood.
