Brown Jumping Spider

Description:

I believe this jumping spider is from the Simaetha genus, maybe Simaetha tenuior. Simaetha species are found in the Australasian region although none are recorded in Borneo. This one is a female with the length of 7mm. 7 millimeters is the standard (average) size for most of the jumping spider species.

Habitat:

In Kinabalu National Park, Kundasang.

Notes:

This is the last and maybe the first time I saw this species. Might be endemic to Kundasang or Mount Kinabalu area only. >>>Map accuracy : 50m diameter.
