brown and white moth

Description:

A small moth about 6 mm long (wing span about 15 mm). The moth was a deep brown with distinctive pale cream patterns. wings wee held flat. Antennae were short.

Habitat:

Spotted in a nature reserve with native trees and plants.

Notes:

have not been able to find a match for this attractive little moth. Any assistance with an ID would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
